The Operational Risk Map Note is typically completed within two weeks from the first session. The Business Continuity Note Workshop runs across three weeks and includes two facilitated sessions. What does the written output look like?
The Risk Map is a six-page written document — not a slide presentation. The Continuity Note is a plain-language reference document covering key scenarios. Retainer clients receive a written monthly review note after each review call. All documents are formatted to be readable by non-specialists and are delivered as PDF and editable file.
Are the sessions conducted in person or remotely?
Initial sessions for the Risk Map and Continuity Note are conducted in person at your premises, primarily within the Klang Valley. Remote sessions via video call are available for follow-up work and for clients outside the Klang Valley. Retainer quarterly workshops are conducted in person; monthly reviews and fortnightly calls are remote.
What preparation is needed before the first session?
Very little. It helps to have your operations lead and finance-administration manager available for two to three hours. We ask for access to any existing documentation — process notes, org charts, vendor lists — but these need not be polished. Part of the engagement's value is working with what actually exists, not an idealised version.
